Born and raised in West Virginia, I have spent my life building solutions, creating systems, and turning ideas into results. My professional journey began during the early days of computer technology in the 1970s and 1980s, when the field of programming was still evolving and required pioneers willing to learn and innovate.
I began my technology career with Union Carbide, where I completed specialized training and earned a certificate in COBOL programming. Over the next three decades, I built a successful career in information technology and systems development, providing programming and technical expertise for organizations including Union Carbide, General Motors, and ultimately Blue Cross Blue Shield. Throughout my career, I learned that great outcomes are achieved through structure, workflow, patience, and understanding—principles that continue to guide me today.
While technology was my profession, creating and building with my hands has always been my passion. I have always enjoyed taking something with potential and transforming it into something valuable and beautiful. That passion led me into real estate rehabilitation, construction, and property preservation.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been transforming a former land grant home into a profitable second rental property, demonstrating my commitment to revitalization and community investment. Today, I work in property preservation and construction services, providing:
